A Modern French Tip
Although a classic white french tip nail is always in style, adding color to this staple is a modern twist. This year, matte and glossy are combined to create a refreshing twist. Play it safe with a reliable dark shade, or take risks with a pop of bright color to your manicure.
Deep Burgundy
As I’ve mentioned in previous blog posts, red is the color of the season. Dark red, bright red, all shades are in, and putting this color on your nails is no exception. For a sophisticated and classy look that is reminiscent of old Hollywood try the red nail polish below.
Dark Aura Nails
Aura nails made a brief appearance over the summer, but they are fully in trend for this fall. To update these nails for the season, simply switch the bright neon auras to dark and moody colors. These nails are made most easily with an airbrush, but can also be accomplished with a sponge if you’re on a budget.
Brown Nails
This season, brown nails are picking up in style. These shades come in various names, such as hot chocolate brown and latte brown; however, no matter the name, you need to try a warm brown nail polish. It’s easy to apply yourself and looks amazing!
Chrome Nails
Also known as “Glazed Donut Nails”, this trend was popularized by celebrity Hailey Beiber. Use chrome powder to either make a full metallic or a slightly shimmering nail. To achieve this look, use a cream or white colored base coat, and then brush over the dry nail with a chrome powder. Finish the hand with a clear top coat and your nails will be ready for the season!
Almond Nails
The days of long acrylics are slowly starting to fade. This fall, swap the long coffin shape for a shorter almond shape. This makes your nails look more natural and less menacing and talon-like if painted with a darker moody shade.
